As virtually every Focus RS owner knows the current 2.3L Ecoboost has head gasket issues as stock let alone when tuned. This results in damaged block and/or cylinder head. So why wait until yours goes wrong and its out of warranty! This job uprates your engine when its STILL IN GOOD CONDTION and future proofs for your power aspirations with a strong ND forged engine.
You drive the vehicle in and we remove the cylinder head and sump and fit Manley I beam con rods along with custom JE (designed by ND) stock bore forged pistons and an ND drop in deck brace. We gap the rings, check all clearances are perfect and refit the head using a ND large diameter head stud kit and ND uprated head gasket. We also run the vehicle in so when you collect you can drive it hard straight away
The engine is then strong enough for up to 550Hp (Uprated valve springs advised as an extra), we advise this route of engine work anything above our ND420 conversion, just not worth risking your 2.3L Ecoboost motor! For even higher hp outputs see our ND MID liner engine block and ported head options to ensure you have the correct strength forged engine you require.
